Planar Irradiance Collector

Collects ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light over 180°, with a cosine angular response that favors light entering normal to the collector face. Similar to HOBI's other light collectors, it is designed for underwater use with HOBI Labs fiber optic cables, but also can be used with any SMA-905 terminated cable. Can be optimized for either submerged or in-air cosine response.

Features

Cosine-weighted angular response measures true irradiance in any light field.
Compact: body is 2.5 cm (1") square
Two configurations:
- Stand-alone for use with any SMA fiber optic cable
- Fully encapsulated version installed by HOBI Labs for rugged, permanent attachment to fiber cable
Angular response optimized for use in either air or water
- choose at time of order
- both versions are waterproof
Fully encapsulated version attaches directly to anti-fouling shutter
